A late goal in the final minute by Joffrey Lupul was not enough as the Calgary Flames defeated the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 at Rexall Place in NHL pre-season action on Saturday night. Alex Tanguay and Mark Giordano scored the Flames' goals as the Oilers' pre-season record falls to 4-1-0. Devon Dubnyk was the first star with 29 saves. The squad played well despite playing only 6 vets compared to 11 for Calgary.
