The N.Y. Rangers' will retire Mark Messiers' number 11 tomorrow night in a game against the Edmonton Oilers'. The powers that be should be ashamed of themselves for making this game a pay-per-view event. The Oilers' will be in tough against the revitalized N.Y.R. because the team is so different from the past. Gone are all the high priced free agents ( Lindros, Bure, Fleury, etc...) Jagr is the core, and the young cast around him is learning astronomically. There are 7 Czechs on the team, and the Czechs are getting it done. The Oilers' are no slouch this year. They're proving that hard work, speed, and team effort can win games. It should be a barn burner reminiscent of the 80's with Gretzky and Messier. Oilers' need this one, so say a prayer !

Cool blog!
hey baby, wanted to tell you to bring a tape with you to Waara's. Teehee. Well, you must record the retiring for posterity, right? We'll be the only people in 2080 to still have a VCR, so we can watch Wayne and Mess's last skates, through our bi-focals. Love ya, -you know who.
