Yesterday when I woke, I looked out the window and noticed that it was still snowing ! I said out loud "who keeps ordering this snow?" and Emma answered "Jesus!"
I was quite startled in a proud way, (she's only 3 1/2) so I said back "How do you think?"
Emma replied "Because He makes the blue sky, the sun, our basements and the stuff inside !"

In sad news, last night Gabe's green anole "Rocky" died peacefully in his terarium. This morning I had the burden of telling him. The Little guy took it pretty hard. Hopefully this little memorial will boost his spirits til we buy a new one. "Lizzie" is alone now and will need a friend !

I hate it when pets die.
Life lessons are so hard.
Well give him a huge hug for me and let him know that his Aunty loves him. I hate breaking that kind of news to my babies.It must have been herd on you.

How do you know he died peacefully? he could have swallowed the kids lego's and choked half the night before finally succombing to his injuries. But I guess letting the little guy thinkn' it was peacefully was probably the best route. I would bring it to the vet for a autopsie for the final word though.
